Terms:

Whitlock’s requires a minimum deposit of 50% of the total purchase price.  We accept personal Checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express as forms of payment.  Once payment is received, Whitlock’s will mail a copy of the contract to the customer for approval, Upon your approval, the order will be processed, once processed, the order cannot be changed or canceled.  Whitlock’s can, in limited circumstances, and at our discretion, allow cancellations.  If an order can be canceled with the Manufacturer, you will not be charged a restocking fee, and your deposit will be refunded, less any credit card fees.  If an order has shipped, you will be charged a restocking fee of 30% of the total purchase price plus delivery charges.

Delivery:

Your order will be delivered to your home upon receipt of the balance due.  Delivery will be made by a reputable insured delivery company.  Once your order is received by the delivery company, some one will contact you to set up your delivery usually within 2-4 weeks of receipt of your order.  Failure to accept delivery within 30 days of notification can result in a monthly storage fee of 5% of the purchase price.

You are responsible for any measurements of doorways, halls, stairways etc. to ensure the merchandise will fit in the designated area.  Whitlock’s  is not responsible, nor will not take back, any merchandise that will not fit in the designated area.  In the event that your merchandise requires additional help to get in the designated area, you will be responsible for the additional delivery charges.

Sales Tax:

Whitlock’s Furniture, Inc. is not required to collect out of state sales tax from anyone not living in South Carolina, if your order is shipped to you. Orders picked up at our facility are subject to the SC Sales Tax of 5%.  Purchases by out of state customers may be subject to sales tax in your home state.  Please contact your revenue officials concerning state sales tax laws in your area.
